Collaboration

LIFE Godwit Flyway is managed by multiple so-called beneficiaries ("project partners"). The coordinating beneficiary is the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Climate Protection of Lower Saxony. It has commissioned its subordinate authority Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal and Nature Protection Agency (NLWKN) to implement the project.

Additionally, there are four participants in the project – two of them in Portugal and one in Germany and in the Netherlands, respectively. And there is an associated partner in The Gambia, West Africa:
